Villa Tamerza, Haute Pyrénées, France.
Getting here by road, rail or air.

By Road -
Bagneres de Bigorre lies midway along the A-64 autoroute between Toulouse and Biarritz, about 15km south of junction 14. Coming from the UK, the best route from Calais is the A-16 to Paris, then the A-10 to Orleans, followed by the A-20 all the way down to Toulouse, where you join the A-64 for the last hour or so of the journey. Allow about 9 to 10 hours for the drive from Calais to Bagneres.

Alternatively you can take the A-10 from Paris to Bordeaux, followed by the N10 to Bayonne, where you join the other end of the A-64 to approach Bagneres from the west.

Some of the cheapest flights to Villa Tamerza are now through EasyJet who have just started operating on the Gatwick to Toulouse route. They fly twice or three times a day, each way. The 7.15am departure is great because you get a whole day cycling or skiing on the day you arrive and if you take their 21.50 flight back to Gatwick, you also get the whole day when you return home. So that's an 8-day holiday for the price of seven.
Ryanair have two flights daily from Stanstead to Biarritz, leaving around 3pm and arriving at Biarritz around 6pm local time. They also run flights from Standstead/Luton to Pau, which is about 45 mins drive from Villa Tamerza. All the normal car rental companies have desks at Biarritz airport but you would be well advised to book from the uk in advance. Car-go are a local hire company who are usually very helpful and slightly cheaper than Avis/Hertz/Europcar etc. National-Citer are usually quite competitive, as are Auto-Europe.

BA and AirFrance both do flights from either Gatwick or Heathrow to Toulouse, several times each day. Flights cost from £75, depending on the time of year and who you book through.
