Biarritz and St Jean de Luz

Our nearest beaches are at Biarritz, Hendaye and St Jean de Luz about 1hr 20mins by car on the A-64. Lovely sandy beaches and lovely old ports. Nice atmospheric, quayside restaurants. Definitely worth a day trip while you're at the house. Lovely sandy beaches at all three resorts. Biarritz has become a surfing mecca with big Atlantic  rollers.
